LED light bulbs offer
a long lasting efficiency lighting solution. On average, LED
light bulbs are rated for 50,000 hrs, some newer technologies
offering as much as 200,000 hrs! Colors range from individual
colors, like Red, Green, etc., to White and Warm White. Color
rendition is close to natural sunlight, as color temperature of
warm white LED is close to that of the Sun. Research and
experience have shown better clarity of images and colors when
lit by LED white color bulb. LED light bulbs produce virtually
no heat, thus providing additional benefit for air conditioned
spaces. The drawbacks of LED lighting in the form of
conventional light bulbs are high prices, directional light vs.
radiant light, and availability. Being directional light, LED's
may appear not as bright as conventional incandescent and CFL's.
However, in the direction of light, LED provide superior light
intensity.
